ABOUT ME

I’m currently a Professor of Practice in Music Theatre at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts where I teach music theatre performance, acting, and voice and speech in addition to directing a yearly mainstage musical. I’m also a freelance stage director specializing in opera and music theatre. Recent projects include Don Pasquale at Opera Saratoga with the Berkshire Eagle noting “Meaghan Deiter’s lively stage direction was ingenious.”

I specialize in music theatre and opera in both the academic and professional spheres. In addition to Don Pasquale, recent productions include Sweeney Todd, Brigadoon, Oklahoma!, Company, Hello, Dolly!, Once Upon a Mattress, She Loves Me, With Blood, With Ink, and Cold Mountain. My work has been featured by Mountain Lake PBS, The Schenectady Daily Gazette, and the Lake Champlain Weekly among other publications.
